What kind of organizations qualify to receive donated websites?
Our donated websites are only available to certifiable nonprofit and charitable organizations. Organizations that are seeking profits absolutely do not qualify. The program is intended for smaller nonprofits and charities that lack the funding and resources to tackle web initiatives on their own.
What if my organization isn't located in New Hampshire?
Our grant program is intended for organizations located in the Granite State, but we'll also consider donating services to out-of-state nonprofits and charities that provide assistance to New Hampshire residents on a case-by-case basis.
What comes with the website?
Our donated websites have multiple pages featuring content and images provided by the organizations we're assisting. Our sites also come with user-friendly content management systems that make it easy for anyone to update them in-house. We can also set up with additional features, including blogs, news feeds and online donation capabilities.
My organization already has a website. Is it disqualified?
No. Our web design grant program is open to organizations that have no web presence as well as ones that have sites that are considered inadequate.
What's the catch?
There isn't one. We design the websites free of charge, hand them over to the organizations and even show them how to use the content management systems to update them in-house.
Do I need to have a URL?
If your organization doesn't have a URL, we can get one for you. If you already have one, we can easily transfer the site to it.
Who provides hosting?
We can host your website or you can choose to have it hosted elsewhere. Either way, we don't charge for it.
How long does it take to launch a website?
That depends on many factors. A simple website can be launched in a matter of days, provided that the recipient is prompt in submitting content and imagery to be used on it.
